The Aikido Teachers
The teachers at Lillsved Aikido seminar are Jan Nevelius and Jorma Lyly, both whom are experienced professional aikido teachers, guiding seminars all over the world.
The Practice
We practice Aikido for four hours a day, each session is two hours, with a short break in between.
There are weapon classes in the morning as well.
Since 2001
Lillsved Aikido seminar started the summer of 2001 with around 70 participants. Since then the seminar has grown to a total of 120 participants, which is the limit of dojo and accommodation. People come from all over the world, England, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Israel and USA are frequent visitors at our seminar.
Between 2001 and 2011 the seminar was held by Jan Nevelius, Frank Ostoff and Jorma Lyly.
Lillsved
Lillsved is a folk high school founded in 1937, located next to the sea in the archipelago, just 40 kilometers outside the capital Stockholm. At Lillsved you live in comfortable and charming rooms, most of them with on-suite WC and shower. In the dining room, with a veranda and a big garden on the back, nutritious meals are served three times a day. After the class you can take a jump into the sea from the curved rocks very close to the seminar area.
